Great Review for “The Mystery of Journeys Crowne”
Oct 22nd, 2009 by vbworm
Bazel spent his entire life trying to solve the mystery of Journeys Crowne. Now, the mystery is your job to solve. Use this book and all the resources you can find to solve it locked inside of the book. This book is an adventure drawing game. Those who follow the adventure must draw, color, unravel puzzles, decipher messages, uncover clues, find hidden objects, and eventually solve the mystery. Puzzles are cleverly put together. Each of the codes in the book is different and must be cracked using various methods. There are no answers in the back of the book, but the first page of the book contains a set of rules which clearly state that the library and Internet are great sources for finding information from the book. Some of the areas in the book require an active imagination. They are depicted with a symbol so the reader knows they don’t have one specific answer to find. The illustrations are multi-faceted and fun to study. This adventure book is a fun way to teach critical thinking and problem solving skills to young people.
